Spiral classifier
Spiral classifier is one of the equipment in mineral processing. Classifier is a kind of classification device that depends on the principle--different solid particles proportion has different precipitation speed in liquid to classify minerals. It can filter out the minerals grain and powder after grinding. So that the coarse materials are screwed into the feed inlet of the mill, while the fine materials are discharged from the overflow pipe.

Product profile
The spiral classifier is combined with the ball mill to form a closed loop process in the mineral processing operation,and the minerals that meet the particle size requirements are discharged from the verflow end to the lower end process as finished products,and the coarse sand is returned to the ball mill for regrinding.
Working principle
The slurry enters the U-shaped trough through the feed inlet in the middle of the side channel. Under the low-speed rotation of the spiral and continuous stirring, most of the light, fine particles are suspended at the top and overflow from the overflow weir as overflow product. The coarse, heavy particles settle at the bottom of the trough (sand settling), are pushed across the chute by the spiral blades and discharged, and are dewatered during the conveying process. If the sand settles to the point where it enters the mill for regrinding via the chute, the sand entering the mill is called recycled sand.
